ISSVD XXVII World Congress and International Vulvovaginal Disease Update

The International Society for the Study of Vulvovaginal Disease (ISSVD) would like to invite you to join us as an attendee and /or to share your research at the upcoming XXVII World Congress and International Vulvovaginal Disease Update. The abstract submission deadline is March 1, 2024.  Registration is expected to open at the end of 2023 but all course information can be viewed here: or visit .

The International Vulvovaginal Disease Update (IU) is a postgraduate course and will be offered on September 13 & 14, 2024 followed by the XXVII World Congress (WC) held on September 16-18, 2024. The venue of the congress is the Cankarjev Dom Cultural and Congress Center, located in the very center of Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. This meeting will be a live event held in Ljubljana, Slovenia with enduring materials available until December 2024.  You are welcome to attend either or both events as both are open to all healthcare providers with an interest in vulvovaginal disease.

Ljubljana, capital city of Slovenia, is a beautiful city with a vibrant atmosphere, plenty of green spaces and an old town that will offer our attendees many opportunities for networking and socialization.  We certainly look forward to seeing you and your colleagues in Slovenia.

BSSVD Vulval Disease – Essentials for Everyone

The BSSVD is running a one day virtual course aimed at all healthcare professionals working in women's health. It is designed to help you feel confident in the examination, diagnosis and treatment of common vulval conditions. We will cover vulval history and examination, the impact of vulval disease, common vulval conditions including Lichen Sclerosis and Genito urinary symptoms of menopause, how to spot VIN, vulval pain, psychosexual therapy and what to do if you suspect sexual abuse.

The course will appeal to everyone working in Women's Health, including GP's, advanced clinical practitioners, menopause specialists, practice nurses and midwives. Over the day attendees will cover all aspects of vulval disease.
